Mwende’s primary education was fully sponsored. “I want to be an engineer when I grow up and assist my poor mother who fends for us by doing menial jobs. I will not forget other children from needy backgrounds,” said Mwende. She needs to raise Sh61,000 to join the national school located in Kajiado County. Ms Katiwa is pleading with well wisher to help her raise the fees and the Sh21,000 her daughter needs to buy personal effects.

“I have nothing at all. I live from hand-to-mouth doing odd jobs. Mwende worked very hard in school, she is the only hope I have,” she said.

Zimbabwe Police Officers Captured by Mozambique force at the border

July 04, 2016
Zimbabwe Republic Police officers are lucky to be still alive following their captured by an armed group of Renamo fighters from Mozambique. The three lost their guns and were set loose with no harm.
The incident at Sango Border Post indicates a volatile security situation on the other side of the Manica Province where Mozambique government forces are fighting Renamo bandits.
As civil conflict continues in the neighbouring nation, Zimbabwe police officers have been deployed to patrol the area near Sango Border Crossing to protect the Zimbabweans. The incident could create more tension after the three officers were later returned to Zimbabwe without their guns and identity particulars.
The three cops who were captured are Assistant Inspector Sibanda, Nyamukaiwa and Mjele. The three were part of a 14 member Support Unit team deployed to patrol the Sango border area.
It is understood Sibanda was armed with a pistol while Nyamukaiwa and Mjele had fully loaded Ak 47 rifles. The three were ambushed about 2 kilometres from Mwenezi river while they were on duty, near Sango border post. The three police officers were captured by suspected Renamo soldiers and held for 4 hrs after they surrendered their firearms, handcuffs and particulars.
There are reports that Renamo bandits are taking advantage of refugees crossing into Chipinge area enabling them to cross with civilians without raising any suspicions to Zimbabwe authorities.
ZimNews.net is reliably informed that Zimbabwe army is now fully participating in covet operations against Renamo though their actions remain a secret to protect Zimbabweans living in Renamo territories in Mozambique.
Our reporters have been told that Renamo fighters often cross into Mutare and Manicaland areas of Zimbabwe to buy medicines and food.
They are blamed for the rise in armed robbery cases in the area.

This child’s penis were ripped by his step mother because the poor little child urinated on the bed while he was sleeping.

Qounfused Platinum Prince in Political Mischief; anti-ruling Government actions

February 11, 2016
As 2018 presidential polls approaches,Qounfuzed,(born McDonald Sheldon) and Platinum Prince, (real name Ian Makiwa) preferably known as Ndururani are in a perilous state following a series of anti-ruling Government actions that have seen them becoming the enemy of the state.

It all started mid 2015 when Platinum Prince released a track titled,"Ndeip President" lambasting President Robert Mugabe and the Government the melt down of the economy. It is alleged that he and his partner in crime Qounfuzed were abducted instantly by a group of guys who quickly released them tenebly because the story went viral on social networks and the Zimbabwean populace as a whole.A close source to these two affiliates, who declined to give his name, notified the two were warned not to tell anyone about it or the situation would be life-threatening. During the time of this Scandal Qounfuzed and Platinum Prince both went to hide in South Africa in fear of being killed. They stayed with Walter Mapuranga who was working in South Africa at that time and managing both of them. the source also confirmed that during their stay in South Africa Walter Mapuranga then made a video slideshow clip for the "Ndeip President " song and he the posted the clip on youtube then it wen viral circulating on other social media platforms.

Initially, Qounfuzed seemed to have been caught in Platinum Prince's crossfire. However he has released tracks bragging for his actions and claiming to be untouchable.
"Tisu Totonga" is a track where he actually label himself a ruler.Another notable joints are "Team Bvondo" and "Hondo" where he actually stresses the need for war so as to bring forth peace and stability in the country.

In a radio interview,King of Style as some prefer to refer to him amongst his followers, has said the reason why he is now spending most of his time in South Africa is because he nolonger feels safe in Zimbabwe after he was brutally attacked by a group of unidentified men who then cut his dreadlocks."The incident of when i was attacked n my hair got cut but the police didnt do much about it after I filed reports. It really leaves me in fear of what could happen to me next,I want to be free and live a happy life not to live an insecure life all the time.I also wonder why people still bring up old news"
he added in an interview with our journalist.Lately,Despite their strong and continued influence and support from the youths of Zimbabwe, Ndururani music has not been getting spins on local radio as station managers and DJ's fear for their jobs.Platinum Prince has been denied radio interviews on his singles release for this cause.
Qounfuzed has publicly attested the complexities of politics as the main reason for his lack of airplay.
This case of anti-ruling Government protests and brutal retaliations is not new to the history of Zimbabwe.Political Journalist and writer Itai Dzamara who berated the President and protested for him to step down was kidnapped over a year ago and his whereabouts remain unknown up to this very day.
Popular and celebrated Zimbabwean musician,Thomas 'Mukanya' Mapfumo whose music was very instrumental to the freedom fighters and Zimbabweans in the liberation struggle fled to the United States of America after a few songs that he did addressing Mugabe's failure to run the country.
Will Qounfuzed and Platinum be safe?Well only time will tell

Angola president dissed for paying $2m to see Nicki Minaj’s assets

December 24, 2015
Despite being a leader of an impoverished African country where nearly 70% of the population lives on less than $2 a day, Pres. Jose Eduardo dos Santos, who has been in power for 36 years, paid Nicki Minaj $2m to
perform at his Xmas party

Minaj performed in Luanda, Angola last night despite calls from human rights activists and critics to cancel her concert for the malnourished country. She arrived the country in a private jet.

Nicki Minaj followed the footsteps of Mariah Carey, who was paid $1m in 2013 to perform in front of Pres. dos Santos, who has been accused of overseeing corruption, misrule and intimidation in the country that suffers endemic poverty, despite being Africa’s 2nd-largest oil producer.
Dos Santos is as generous a father as he is brutal a dictator. Today his daughter, Isabel dos Santos, 42, is Africa’s youngest billionaire, with an estimated net worth of $3.5 bn. This month, Transparency International named her one of the world’s 15 most symbolic cases of grand corruption.

3 million Jobs in Zimbabwe at last

November 28, 2015
People cried in Zimbabwe, They Suffered, Crying for Jobs saying "We are an Educated People". I did my survey in various Locations and Ghettos, Met the people and we talked about issues troubling them.

Most of them where not as Educated as they said, They were just people who went and finished school but were neither educated nor passed. Some failed grade 7 and they expect to find a job in a bank, Some have Zero O levels and they want a job at delta cooperation. .

So i asked them individually, So tell me what job would like to do?, most of them couldn't even at least reply. The few that replied said "Rese Rese Mudhara"
Then i said "guys i see in the newspaper everyday in classifieds vacancies column  there is always plenty jobs, Why cant you apply.

I realized most of the people who cried for jobs have never even looked for a job their entire life, They never wrote a CV, some of them don't even know what a CV is. And most of them didn't have any other learnt skill which is non academic eg motor mechanics, welding, etc.

There are always Jobs in the classifieds but most people don't qualify. There are jobs ready everywhere around Zimbabwe, Man power is even in shortage. Shops need cleaners, companies need security guards, professionals need house girls, baby sitters and garden boys. People will say "no zvinomakisa" but the same people go to South Africa and they do the same jobs they refused to do in zimbabwe. Its called ego, they want easy money, they don't want to either work or study to become who they wanna be, Zimbabwe's ex Governor Gideon Gono did his O level when he was 28. Now he has an economics book studied at universities worldwide even in the states.

People are used to working for someone for something they can do themselves, sell and keep all the money, People would rather work for a big company as a mechanic who will service $10,000us worth car repairs. The company will pay them $500 from the $10,000us they worked for for the whole month.

God created us all for a purpose here on earth and if you don't claim your purpose someone will take it and used for their own benefit. You will become their worker and call them boss yet you are the one with what he needs.

If you have failed academics no problem there many other non academic skills you can aquire. Now pliz stop complaining about a job if you have never even looked for it, if you are not qualified or under qualified.

South African Rand Falls Again

November 18, 2015
JOHANNESBURG. – South Africa’s rand fell against the dollar yesterday amid investor uncertainty over whether the central bank will raise interest rates this week. Stocks opened 0,13 percent lower at 46,687 points on South Africa’s blue-chip Top-40 index. At 0730 GMT the rand had slipped 0,19 percent to 14,3000 per dollar, surrendering the gains of the previous session as the greenback climbed to a seven-month high. US interest rates are expected rise before year-end.
Government bonds were flat, with the yield on paper due in 2026 unchanged at 8,55 percent.
The market is divided over whether South Africa’s Reserve Bank will leave benchmark rates unchanged at a policy meeting today. According to a Reuters poll, 21 of 35 economists predict rates will be held at 6 percent with the other 14 forecasting a hike. The rand has been on the ropes for most of 2015, losing over 20 percent against the dollar, but hiking rates to underpin the currency risks slowing an already struggling economy.

“The problem with rand weakness is that it starts a vicious circle, where investors choose to withdraw rand bond and equity investments to avoid further currency loss, which in turns drives further rand weakness,” said economist at Investec Annabel Bishop. – Reuters.

NOT ENOUGH RAIN TO END WATER PROBLEMS!

November 17, 2015
A week-long forecast for rain in , Limpopo could bring relief from the heat, but might be insufficient to solve water shortages or the drought.
NOT ENOUGH RAIN TO END WATER PROBLEMS!

This was as inclement weather and hail left a trail of damage in parts of Limpopo, Pretoria and the East Rand yesterday.
A video has also emerged of a car apparently trapped in a heavy downpour in Pretoria West.
South African Weather Service forecaster Elisabeth Webster said there was a good chance of showers and thundershowers with the possibility of severe thunderstorms in the three provinces for the rest of the week.
"The rain will help alleviate the heat and there will be cooler temperatures," she said.
Parts of the country, including Gauteng, experienced a heatwave last week with temperatures in some areas exceeding 40°C.
North West, KwaZulu-Natal, Free State, Limpopo and Mpumalanga have been declared disaster areas. Some areas in Gauteng experienced water shortages.
Webster said Springs on the East Rand experienced the highest rainfall during Monday's downpour with 44,6ml. Pretoria had 23,4ml and the OR Tambo International Airport 15,6ml.
While there was hail in parts of Limpopo, the province did not experience significant rainfall.
Johannesburg environment and infrastructure mayoral committee member Matshidiso Mfikoe told News24 while the rain could bring some relief, it would not be enough to fundamentally shift the city's situation where demand often exceeded supply.

"It will relieve us somehow, but we still need to save."
Large hailstones, some almost the size of tennis balls, and the stormy weather wreaked havoc in Limpopo and the East Rand on Monday.
In Brakpan, at least eight cars were reportedly trapped under the fallen roof of a Caltex station.
Netcare 911 said no-one was injured in the incident.

The man identified as Proud Mupambwa has been arrested and is in police custody while investigations continue.

The gruesome murder of Lloyd Jambawu (31) and Marko Masenda (37) has left residents of Manyame Park shell shocked.

Distraught relatives, neighbours and friends were still trying to come to terms with the situation when the ZBC News arrived at the scene.

The bodies of the deceased were lying a few metres away from the scene of the crime.

Elphas Chawira is lucky to be alive as he managed to escape from the marauding Mupambwa who pursued him with an axe but could not catch up with him.

What seemed a normal Saturday turned into a horror show when the alleged murderer Mupambwa borrowed an axe from an unsuspecting woman.

Eye witnesses say no one ever suspected that Mupambwa, a Zanu PF youth leader could turn against his fellow party members.

Mupambwa was arrested by police at the scene of the crime.

He had recently been elected Zanu PF youth chairman of Chaminuka 4 district.

One of the deceased Jambawu was the youth political commissar while Masenda was the secretary for administration in the same district.

Neighbours say there was no animosity among the three.

'As a father, it breaks my heart': David Beckham visits a refugee camp for the first time during globe-trotting adventure

November 09, 2015
He's currently travelling the world for a new BBC documentary about grassroots football.
And it seems that David Beckham's globe-trotting adventure has been quite the eye-opener for him as he visited a refugee camp for the first time on Sunday.
'As a father, it breaks my heart': David Beckham visits a refugee camp for the first time during globe-trotting adventure
The footballing legend, 40, cradled a little girl and was surrounded by youngsters as he met with children and families displaced by conflict at the Ali Addeh refugee camp in Djibouti, eastern Africa.
The UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador - who's dad to sons Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 10, and daughter Harper, four, with wife Victoria, 41 - said: 'This is the first time I have visited a refugee camp.
'It’s shocking to see how children’s lives can be turned upside down as a result of conflict and violence and as a father it breaks my heart to see children living in such difficult circumstances.'

During his time at the refugee camp, which is home to 10,000 refugees, he shared a sweet snap of a small child hiding behind a corrugated shed to his 14.7million followers, captioned: 'Peekaboo'.
Last week, he came across an unphased and extremely cheeky fan during his recent visit to the Padam Jyoti School, in Bhaktapur, Nepal,
The retired footballer took to Instagram to document his trip and in one selfie he is photobombed by a cheeky school boy who makes bunny ears with his fingers behind David's head.

Clearly tickled by the joker's interruption, David added the caption: 'Bunny ears are the same everywhere in the world @UNICEF #loveofthegame'.
David, a well-known lover of social media, looked to be having a wonderful time in the image as he posed with three grinning school children - before they were met with an uninvited photo subject.
A prankster jumped behind the former Manchester United star and raised two fingers to look like bunny's ears - a classic trick to pull on somebody posing for a picture.
In another shot, a grinning David yet again beamed while he was joined by his new Nepalese pals for a cute picture.

David's new BBC show, entitled Love Of The Game, David will visit seven countries and play seven games with the locals in each region, as he explores the impact of the sport in all walks of life.
He arrived in the South Asian nation earlier this week after first of all visiting Papau New Guinea in order to get the tour rolling - and got straight to it as he enjoyed a kickabout with local youths.

After arriving by rickshaw, David met with the students, who had lined up to greet their hero.
He was put through his paces by the delighted students of the school - which was damaged in the devastating earthquake that hit the country in April.
His face was later painted crimson - the national colour of Nepal - while a garland of marigolds was thrust around his neck.
The youngsters looked thrilled as he went down the line, shaking their hands and enjoying a chat, before they started the game.

The match in which he took part was also a charity game: while being filmed for the BBC documentary, it was also held to raise money for the United Nations' Children's Fund.
It's an ambitious journey for the father-of-four as he prepares to find out more about the passion that links the various locations, going from Papau New Guinea to the foothills of Nepal, the streets of Buenos Aires, the deserts of Djibouti to the elevated pitches of Miami.
After his globe-trotting ways, which will see him meet people from all walks of life, David will end the journey at Old Trafford in Manchester, where his career began.
