Grade 5 pupils stone Classmate to death

The boy age 12 comes from Samende Village under Chief Sikalenge even whose is that name cannot be published for legal reasons, is alleged to have been playing with his friends when he attacked the deceased pupil.Sources who spoke to Sunday News gave a detailed account of the events which led to the death of the minor.

They said the pupils were playing during break time when one of the children picked a stone and threw it towards a group of fellow pupils, hitting one of the pupils on the back of the head.“After threatening his friends saying anyone who caused a stir was going to get a beating,” said a source, “the boy allegedly threw a stone and hit the deceased on the back of the head leading to his death on the spot.”

According to sources, teachers were called to the scene but it was too late as the boy’s condition had already reached a critical state.
