Enough is Enough, Zimbabwe Citizens have decided to take a stand one more time. Zimbabwe politicians have lost media control because of technology. People no longer have much time for our local broadcasters because there are now numerous alternatives compared to not more than ten years ago. Posts and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe has decided to interfere and regulate peer to peer interactions between two individuals which are supposed to be private.

On 7 July 2016 Zimbabwe's POTRAZ issued statements of warning to citizens
“Any person caught in possession of, generating, sharing or passing on abusive, threatening, subversive or offensive telecommunication messages, including WhatsApp or any other social media messages will be persecuted, i mean prosecuted and banned to use all internet services entirely”


Zimbabwe is fighting to stop public outrage over economic mismanagement, alleged police heavy handedness and delayed salaries for civil servants. Public workers and other citizens called for job actions, stayaways and protests on Wednesday and Thursday via WhatsApp and other social messaging platforms. Zimbabwe was too late when social network was removed from zimbabwe internet, the protest was a success.
