Chipinge opens own university

Chipinge is reported to have becomes the First District In Zimbabwe to open its own University without any form Of assistance from the government.

The name of the University is in rememberance of the Gaza State established by the late Ngungunyane (Soshangane most trusted induna ) along the South Eastern Border and Save Valley in the 1860s . Gazaland University set to begin enrolling early January 2016 .

Officials have reported that this follows deliberate failure by Mugabe gvt to construct a single University in Manicaland Province yet Manicaland has the highest number of Professors and Doctors in the country .

"Since 1980 Manicaland Province has been ignored by Mugabe . In fact as am writing here Manicaland is the biggest Province and the most richest Province with 25 % of World Diamonds but it only has one Teacher's College (Mutare Teachers College ) and has no State University except the one private and most expensive Africa University in the country

Mugabe deliberately ignored Manicaland , Chipinge in particular , because we were the only People who refused a one Party State soon after the Unity accord in 1987," reads the statement posted on Facebook.

"In fact we threatened to Join Mozambique. We told Mugabe right in his face that we don't owe him anything and to us , he did not liberate us. All the other Districts in the country endorsed his idea of one Party state but we refused."

Authorities said even in Parliament Ndabaning Sithole told Mugabe that he will not endorse a One Party state and told Mugabe that if he goes ahead with the Plan to erase Political parties then the Ndau people will be left with no choice but to go back to their original country (Mozambique ).

"let facts be known by everybody that Chipinge and Chimanimani are not Zimbabwean Districts and no wonder why there is no Boundary between the two places ," reads the statement.

"The only Boundary between Zimbabwe and Mozambique is through Mutare . Our Ndau people actually have families in both Zimbabwe side and Mozambican side and nobody dares put a Boundary between the two countries." , , , ,
