- A Tsholotsho man’s alleged romp with a goat was cut short when the man failed to contain his s**ual pleasure and cried in excitement, prompting a passerby to rush to the scene, a Tsholotsho court heard.
This was heard during the initial appearance of Levias Mlalazi (20) from Magama Line village before Tsholotsho resident magistrate Abednico Ndebele. He was charged with bestiality as defined in Section 74 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act Chapter 9:23.
Allegations against Mlalazi are that on 31 December, he brewed trouble for himself when he was allegedly caught s**ually satisfying himself on his neighbour’s goat.
Prosecuting, Sikhumbuzo Sibanda said: “It is alleged that on the day in question a neighbour to Mlalazi confided to the owner of the she-goat, Sipho Ncube, that he saw Mlalazi having “s*x” with his goat while he was fetching firewood in the nearby bush.
“It is reported that while in the bush, the informant became suspicious after he heard moans of a man coming from the nearby bush and he immediately went to see what was happening.
“When he arrived at the scene the informant was reportedly shocked when he saw Mlalazi bending down while forcing his manhood into the she-goat which was tied to a tree.”
After being busted, the shocked Mlalazi ran away, the court heard
The complainant noticed that the goat had sustained a swollen vagina and asked to see the clothes which were worn by the accused at the time of the alleged offence.
It was noticed that they had some fur on them and Mlalazi was taken to the police where charges of bestiality were filed against him.
However, Ndebele remanded him out custody to 9 January.
