01. Do not be on Riddims

Riddims will not make you a name instead people will only listen to the already known big artists and the unknown will be refereed to as "Vamwe vapfanha (Some other youngsters)" eg people may say "On one clan riddim there is  Winkyy Dee, Sniper Storm nevamwe vapfanha (Some othe youngsters)"
Riddims are also not good for established artists, all 2014 and 2015 Winky Dee and even Sniper where on most riddims but all those riddims did not give them a hit, Winky Dee then worked on a project with Exclusive beats and everyone went crazsy, Even the previous Killer Tee Album, he was on exclusive beats and Killer Tee rocked all year 2015

02.Avoid collaborations with known Artists of same genre as yours

The big artist will outshine you because he has fans already
The artist might be fading and people tired of his sound, People want new sound and new artists always, the moment you associate yourself with a fading artists you become one of them.
How many artists who where made by collaborations do you know?

Rather if you are a dancehall artist do a collabo with someone from a different genre, eg Tally Bee was engaged by Ngoni Kambarami on Zvaundiiita so, only one verse made Tally Bee a big name, Now how many guys did collaborations with the likes on Kinna, Soul Jah Love, Calaz, etc? How many Made it?

03.Invest in a minimum of 3 Superb Quality Videos

Video is the most efficient marketing medium
The videos have to be creative and catchy, Invest well and rehearse hard till your act is all perfect

04.Be Unique and creative

Do something that no other artist has ever produced before, New beat, new lyrics, new sound
Zimbabwe have a tendency of imitating who ever is on hit, Remember when Rokis Chidzoka was a hit, everybody started to sound rumba like, Then The Stunner Era, everybody started to sound like Stunner, now everybody is trying to be on a Naija Beat

05.Sing relevant music that people can relate too

Sad love songs about a breakup will always be a hit because over 60 percent of the population are heartbroken people, over half of songs in any nations and any radio stations chats are breakup songs, Like eg wrecking ball, Someone like you, Nguva Yangu, etc.
Sing feel good music for club
Sing about a newly trending hot topic, don't sing about an already fading or exhausted trend,
eg Winky Dee's song Disappear is relating to the nowadays popular prosperity gospel

06.Polish your work

Nigerians rarely release albums but they spend their time working on a bis single club banger, it takes only one song to make an Artists entire career.

I have stopped submitting my music to power fm 5 years ago, but there is no corner where Dr Clarence Exclusive music is not played, Im am the best when it comes to flooding the streets with Videos and Viral Videos,

I  dont mind not being played by radio DJs who hold 6 months quick, Journalism diplomas, a journalist diploma doesn't qualify you to play and mix music,Talent does, radio is dead, cant compare it to the Bubling Bee, Tinashe Chiname, Dj Scott, Gulaz, radio 3 Days, now radio is full of snobs who are rather followers than trend setters.

Dr Clarence is one of Zims finest Humble talents to inspire other youths into producing, Dr Clarence mentored the likes of DJ Mbale, T Man, DJ Sude, Cure Massive amoung many, also helped the Likes of Dadza D, Shinsoman, Killer T and Guspy Warrior in their grassroots, I am not trying to boast by am challenging all established zim talent to mentor others and not compete with new talent, People where asking me how i feel about terminator calling himself the Dancehall Specialist, and i reply today, He is one of my favourite artist at the moment and ive no problem with him along with Celscious and Kina, these guys will go places,

 What have i achieved as an artist apart from a few worthless haters, I dont own a benz, i own a 6 roomed house in Kuwadzana, a fleet of Taxis branded Dr Clarence, a residential stand in Manyame park wich i am currently selling to boost my investments, I urge the youths to work with me instead of wanting to compete with me, I am not some school failure, i can go and work in the office anytime, but i like the money um getting now, enough to buy myself haters, My biggest horse has been Stunner, but now he has been trying to prove a point for the past 5 years, 2015 um pulling stunner back into his kraal, ive kept a few friends around whose loyalty um now in doubt of,

2014 saw me reestablishing myself into film,i didnt start now but way back before 2008 when i was the editor for award winning top class soap Estate Blues, working together with Admire Maramba. Sometimes i even shoot with an I Phone, i use my self programed software, wich is a hybrid of Adobe After Effects and Sony HD,

Making beats has become to easy for me so i challenged myself to learn to play every instrument there is in this planet, the Joy of learning new things didnt last long after i taught myself the guitar in one week, all the other instruments that followed became maters of a few minutes, I challenge the media to bring me any instrument and i will play it

When recording Audios i dont use a Studio Condenser mic, Thats why my vocals have clarity, Funny isnt it? 

Dynamic microphones are more robust than condensers. and Dynamic microphones can handle higher sound pressure levels than condenser microphones. especially these Zimmdancehall yelling type of vocals, n my entire carrier i have never used Headphones they close the brain and music loses its aquistic feel.

 

People only buy condensers as a result of the Veblen effect.

and finally I don’t need condensers because my mixing is perfect!

A Chitungwiza boy has become a local hero after he captured a live Python with his bare hands.

But Parks and Wildlife officials professed ignorance about the development and said they were yet to get in touch with the Police.

The hero, Trymore, claimed that he is no stranger to these daring feats as he has been at it since he was a little boy.

“Residents called me to catch the snake after they saw it in the cabin at a house. I just used my bare hands in catching the snake and this is the seventh snake I have caught and taken to St Mary’s Police Station,” he said.IHarare
