It is not Zimbabweans who burnt our border but South Africans. Right after the Zimbabwe government banned imports on food Stuffs, toiletries, building materials and other goods Messina South Africa lost business.

Some Zimbabweans who had already purchased some goods in South Africa started returning the goods to the shops they had purchased from,
South Africa lost a lot of business and South Africans felt it was unfair of the Zimbabwean government to ban Imports from South Africa yet Zimbabwe exports some good to South Africa. South Africans organized them self and started blocking all goods trucks and other vehicles coming from Zimbabwe.

The protesting South Africans urged Zimbabweans to join them in the demonstrations and allowed those who where afraid of demonstrating at the Zim side. it was chaos and chaos after chaos of chaos thus boom the border was on fire.
