Zanu-PF rallies earn Mugabe's dairy big money
The on-going Zanu-PF youth rallies have been a windfall to Alpha Omega Dairy Private Limited owned by President Robert Mugabe's family as the youth league is reportedly buying from it all dairy products being dished out at the party's gatherings.
Alpha Omega, a multi-million-dollar business located in Mazowe, is a subsidiary of the first family's business empire, Gushungo Holdings. Investigations by the ZImbabwean Newspaper Daily News revealed that the youth league is paying for the dairy products; yoghurts and ice creams which are consumed at the rallies.
The products are distributed for free to the masses attending the rallies.
So far, Mugabe has held well-attended rallies, dubbed presidential youth interface meetings in seven provinces, implying that the company has so far made quite some substantial amount of money from the sales.
At the Midlands rally in Gweru last Friday, First Lady Grace Mugabe told the gathering that she had brought $15 000 worth of ice cream to feed the gathering, claims which were repeated by national political commissar for the youth league, Innocent Hamandishe.
Zanu-PF youth league national secretary for finance, Tongai Kasukuwere, confirmed that the ice cream was paid for, but said provinces do so out of their own will to support the first family's dairy firm.

Goreraza was formerly married to Grace Marufu, then secretary to and now the wife of Robert Mugabe.
Stanley Goreraza is an officer in the Air Force of Zimbabwe and the current defence attaché at the Zimbabwean embassy in China.
Goreraza and Grace have one child, a son, Russell Goreraza, who now manages his mother's extensive farm property, Gushungo Dairy Estate
In 2006, Goreraza was honoured for his long service in the Air Force of Zimbabwe, receiving a bar to his long and exemplary service medal
In year 2010 Stanly Goreraza did not attend his sons wedding to keep a low profile, However President Mugabe attended the wedding and gave a wedding gift of 20,000usd and Grace Mgabe gave a gift of 20 cows.
In September 2017 Stanley Goreraza is alleged to have blasted Grace Mugabe for attacking a South African Woman, Grabriella Engels and Said Grace Deserved hell.
He went on to Blast The Zimbabwe Education System saying it produces poor people only.
Goreraza is friend with a lot of Big Names in Zimbabwe, The Likes of Tendai Biti, Morgan Tsvangirai, Alex Magaisa, etc on Facebook.
Stanley Goreras facebook account is rumoured to be a probably fake ghost account whose real owner might not be the real Goreraza considering that Goreraza is still a Govenment Employee and Mugabe Is his Boss
In year 2001 Goreraza was hospitalized in China and he was visited while in hospital by Robert and Grace Mugabe, This Suggests that they maybe in good books after all.
In year 2015 Stanley Goreraza Divoced again, this time his second wife Tamara. Now we have a record that he divorces wives so can we say Mugabe Snatched grace from him?

Magistrate says Lumumba ‘confused’ – keeps changing lawyers

A Harare magistrate has described former Zanu PF activist Acie Lumumba as “confused” because he is continually changing his lawyers.
Lumumba whose real name is William Mutumanje, is charged with undermining President Robert Mugabe’s authority after telling him f*** you during the launch of a new party.On Tuesday, the Magistrate, Mr Vakayi Chikwekwe chided Lumumba for “bringing a new lawyer for every court session”. This was after he brought Advocate Zvikomborero Chadambuka to represent him.
In the last court session, Lumumba was represented by Advocate Nelson Chamisa. Earlier on he had been represented by Mr Arshiel Mugiya. Chikwekwe yesterday inquired if the new advocate was instructed.
The defence counsel produced a letter from Lumumba’s first lawyer, Mr Mugiya, which Mr Chikwekwe said was not clear. Prosecutor Mr Oscar Madhume said the matter was being continually postponed at the insistence of the accused.
To this Mr Chikwekwe said: “Accused you are confused, go and put your house on order.
“With so many lawyers in the country, I wonder how many you will bring to this case.”

Lumumba seeks Constitutional Court referral of his matter following the dismissal of his application challenging his placement on remand.
He said his constitutional rights as enshrined in the Constitution were being infringed upon.
Allegations are that on June 30 Lumumba said “Mr President Robert Gabriel Mugabe f*** you. I am drawing the red line, our kids are in trouble so it is a red line I know and my name is Lumumba, Lumumba, Lumumba . . . ”
He was addressing a press conference where he unveiled his political party.
It is further alleged that he went on to say that if anything happened to President Mugabe, his children would be dealt with.
“I am someone’s child, a war veteran’s child, you can touch me, but I hope you live long because God forbid something happens to you and you leave your kids, they will be touched too.”
This week Dr Alex Magaisa, a law lecturer at Kent University in the United Kingdom said that Section 33 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act that provides against insulting the president is unconstitutional as it is too vague and violates freedom of expression and citizens’ political rights.
“Section 33 is an outdated and unjust law which is not fit for purpose. It is unconstitutional and should be struck off the statute books because it is a serious hazard to democracy,” said Magaisa in a recent blog. (Read the full article here).
“An executive president is an active politician who routinely trades arguments with and exchanges occasional political jibes against opponents, especially during election time.
“It is inherently unfair for a legal system to give protection to a president who freely criticizes and insults competitors whenever opportunity permits,” said Magaisa.
“Indeed, the reality in Zimbabwe is that President Mugabe has often publicly insulted his political rivals and other critics and yet the legal system has often descended heavily upon those who allegedly insult him,” added the law expert.
He added: “A law that fails to treat all persons equally falls short of the standard of the right to equal protection of the law and against non-discrimination which are protected under Section 56 of the Constitution.” Nehanda Radio

President appoints new RBZ board

PRESIDENT Mugabe with effect from last Friday, appointed a new board for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, according to a note published in the latest Government Gazette. Economist Mrs Rita Likukuma has been appointed deputy chairperson alongside eight other directors. RBZ governor Dr John Mangudya chairs the 10-member board.
Mr Likukuma holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe, and Masters of Business Administration degree from the United Kingdom. She is also a non-executive director of several companies.
The other eight directors appointed are Mrs Virginia Mudimu (a lawyer), Mr Aaron Maboyi, Mr Michael Zvikomborero Nyabadza, Mr Joe Mutizwa (business executive), Mr Onesime Jacob Mukumba (former CFX chief executive), Mr Cornelius Maradza, Mrs Pauline Chapendama (a strategic business consultant) and Mr Lazarus Murahwa (banker).
Their appointment comes at a time when the central bank is in the process on recapitalising to enhance the stability of the banking sector.
