Flamboyant, Gospel rapper Mudiwa claims he found a thief who had stolen his cap and gave him $5 to stop stealing.Narrating the incident to his Facebook followers,Mudiwa said a certain man stole his “New York” cap,at the corner of Julius Nyerere and Jason Moyo, whilst he was driving with his car roof open.
He said he then parked his car and looked for the thief,and when he found him he had already sold the cap for $1.
Mudiwa said that he restrained people who wanted to assault the thief.He then drove off with the alleged thief and gave him $5 while demanding his cap back.
“Sometimes we have to focus on the reason why people do bad things to us,when I realised that he had sold the cap, my concern was now on him.
“I wanted him to be a changed person so the only way of doing it was to approach him gently not violently,that is why I stopped people from assaulting him and also why I gave him some money.
“I feel as a nation we should a lot in rehabilitaing people ,who live on the streets,they are part of our society and if we dont help no one will he” said.
We shared his post then, on our Facebook Fanpage, iHarare Extreme and some of our followers were not at peace with the fact that Mudiwa decided to share pics of the incident on Facebook. “Your left hand must never know what your right hand is doing. He is just an attention seeking hypocrite,” they blasted, quoting some passages from the Holy Book.
