ZimDancehall Topping Chats in Jamaica; Automan disgruntled about not getting airplay back home

January 10, 2016
Michael Chinyamurindi a Zimbabwean Born Actor has been in Hollywood productions like The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, Congo, The X-Files, George of the Jungle and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Zimbabwe rejected him, Zimbabweans have a long history of suppressing talent and now another case of suppression and pulling down is happening.

Have you ever heard of a Zimbabwean Born Artist called AUTOMAN?

Automan

Automans collabo with Jamaican based artist Crazy Don is topping Jamaica charts among the 40 Jamaica big tracks of 2016 so far.

It funny how a talented zim artist is being played nationwide in Jamaica reaching top 40 but has never got airplay on zim radio. Big up AUTOMAN next big thing in zim.

Its like in the case of Buffalo SoulJah, He won Channel O Awards  six times, he was Celebrated by all Africa except for his own people Zimbabwe. He received no airplay in Zimbabwe, indeed that is how Zimbabwe keep loosing our talent that will benefit other countries.

If we had supported Roki, by now he would have been above the 2 Faces and the P-Squares.

Most Zim Based Djs have a bitchy-like behavior, They Interview the Zahara, The Mafikizolos, They lick their behinds getting photos with artists from outside Zimbabwe. They take the radio like its their
personal jukeboxes. Googling American music, Playing too much of it and not giving Zim rising artists airplay and a chance.
Zimbabweans have a pull down mentality to anyone who tries to make it, They support you when you are still poor and you are still a nobody but when you make it they start saying nonsense about you. Like in the case of Tocky Vibes, everybody loved him but as soon as he made a few monies for himself people were framing stories and pulling him down. Wear Yellow pushes with uncombed hair and dirty clothes to a show and the fans will love you, they will not can you. Then try wearing clean ironed clothes, with a nice hairstyle of a flat cap and Raybans then the crowd will can you and say "anozvida, anoshaina".

That is why Zimbabwean who make it outside Zimbabwe never return home or al least mention Zimbabwe, The like of Buffalo SoulJah, Chirisa, Riv Ngwenya, Danai Gurira, Leeroy Gopal, Kevin Mambo, Shanky, Berita etc,

Zimbabwe now is the time we must shun "Pull Down Mentality", It begins with you and int begins with me, Lets help uplift Automan. If He makes it in Jamaica it will benefit Zimbabwean artists because people will want to know all music from his country.

Beverly Sibanda hired to perform at new Aniointing Oil Launch

September 11, 2015
Beverly Sibanda Headlins again, personaly i think these church men are no different from ZimDancehall artists, imagine all the kids who are going to witness this, This is Like a great Okaying of Bevelys lifestyle and very soon church Kids will follow suit.

RAUNCHY dancer Beverly “Bev” Sibanda will be taking her sexually-charged dance routines to Pastor Paul Sanyangore’s Victory World International Ministries’ “Super Sunday” service where she is billed to perform, NewsDay has established.

The controversial dancer-cum-singer is likely to be the centre of attraction at the church, where Sanyangore will be launching new “anointing water” at Stodart Netball Complex in Mbare.

Although the church’s spokesperson, Andy Sanyangore could neither confirm nor deny that Bev would be performing at the church, the dancer’s manager, Hapaguti Mapimhidze told NewsDay yesterday all was set for the performance.

Mapimhidze said there was nothing wrong with Bev performing in nightclubs and at church because she also needed spiritual guidance.

“Beverly and I are now going to Victory World International Ministries as we seek spiritual guidance. If we hear of a man of God who can bring deliverance to our lives, no one can stop us from going to the church,” Mapimhidze said.

“Bev is a musician and she has worship songs that she can sing in church. Everything that we do, we do it according to the environment.”

Bev and her manager were part of the congregation a fortnight ago at Victory World International Ministries after they were invited by a friend.

Sanyangore said Bev was coming to church just like any other person in need of spiritual deliverance.

“At Victory World International Ministries we welcome everyone and as far as we know Bev might be seeking deliverance since she has not yet registered as our member,” Sanyangore said.

“I can confirm that Mathias Mhere will perform at the service as part of his welcome from his maiden United States of America tour.”

Among the musicians who have been spotted a the church’s services in the past are Mhere, dancehall chanters Killer T, Terminator, Tocky Vibes and Saiwe Chimbetu.

Mapimhidze said they were not going to the church for publicity, as many suggested when Bev joined Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries led by Walter Magaya.

“When we joined PHD it was after an invite from a friend. But when we quit, Magaya had to phone us to come back, unlike in this case we are going to the church to pray,” Mapimhidze said.

Star Fm, a Disgrace to all who died for our Liberation???

May 19, 2015
No to corruption!!!!!!!! To Star FM I would say......................
I tried to deal with Star FM Confidentially but now i am coming out in the public,
Id like to take this time to remind all Star FM DJs that, the radio is not your personal jukeboxes. All corrupt personnel with be dealt with accordingly, Male DJs who want sex for airplay will be dealt with. For the confidentiality of the females involved i will only release the least and photo evidences in court. It doesn't make sense when only 5 out of 20 songs on Star Fm charts are local. This is a breach of Zimbabwe broadcasting act.
What happened to the 75 percent local content, Busy promoting the Beyonces and Jay Z who contribute nothing to our economy, who do not pay tax in Zimbabwe, Link Below is my open letter to Star Fm, please forward this until relevant authorities see this  act of unpatriotic by Star FM personnel, Mbuya Nehanda, Sekuru Kaguvi, Leopold Takawira, Hebert Chitepo did not die so that we can play Beyonces on our radio, Robert Mugabe was not arrested for more that 10 years so DJs can promote American and British music.
Did our war Heroes die that we could play American music on our Radio Stations?
If  Nehanda was alive would you play Jay Zee for her
The entire station is boycotting Soul Jah Love just because he had a fight with one of Star Fm Dj, I don't know which law they used to boycott him or if they had a court order to do so, These Star Fm sellouts are becoming big headed, Soul Jah Love makes music for the nation, not for himself but for millions of Zimbabweans, now how do you justify depriving the entire nation off good music? If Soul Jah love was so bad how about fraudsters, murders, corrupts and thieves working for the radio, why are they not fired? Munhu akatukana nemunhu just because vatorerana mabhebhi otonouraya whole career yemunhu?

Star FM; don't use the radio to get ladies and sex and most of you are blinging with clothes and jewelry from promoters, Radio is a Public Service and i have a constitutional right to a public opinion and scrutiny. This is a dispute and should be addressed immediately, I am a guy who never gets tired of fighting for my country. Attached Below is my Notice to Star FM which i have decided to turn into an open letter. No offence is intended and if any of Star FM staff is offended by my epistle then they are a sellout, Dzakutsaku. https://www.sendspace.com/file/dffnm3

Top 5 Zimbabwean celebrities who made news for the wrong reasons:

1. In June 2013, urban grooves artist Rockford ‘Roki’ Josphats and songbird Ammara Brown made the news when they were reportedly set to walk down the aisle.

Cecilia Kamuputa

The two however took to social media networks refuting the claims that they were getting married but maintained that they were in love.

2. Alick Macheso was also all over the press in 2014 over his marital problems with his then second wife, Tafadzwa Fortunate Mapako.

The problems spilled into the courts and a lot of mud-slinging occurred between the two parties resulting in paternity tests being carried out to prove that Alick Jnr and Manisha were indeed Macheso’s children.
3. Interestingly, it is not only Macheso’s bedroom that was in shambles as his daughter Sharon made the headlines from her August 2014 wedding…

4. 2014 saw a lot of Zim Dancehall artists coming into the lime-light and 21 year- old Tocky Vibes became the darling in the dancehall genre with his sober and positive lyrics in songs like ‘Mhai’.

Tocky Vibes

Despite his success, there was however talk from Zim Dancehall hardliners who claimed the artist did not fit into the genre, especially through the way he dressed.

5. Two more Zim dancehall artists,Soul Jah Love and Seh Calaz, made it into the press after they were involved in a scuffle at the Sting Dancehall Clash held at the City Sports Centre in November 2014. The confrontation degenerated into chaos as fans also started to fight and the police threw tear gas to contain the situation
